19th Century Carved Walnut Hall Chair Scotland 1870 F-1620 F-1621
A handsome and practical example of Victorian-era hall seating, designed to make a dignified first impression in the entranceway. a sculptural piece that still works today as an entry chair, bedroom accent, or desk pull-up. The carvings gives its presence , the walnut gives it soul.

Large solid seat with splayed back legs and beautifully turned front legs. Box stretcher configuration for strength.
The chair is in good sound condition.
Please note that back right leg has loss of wood. see picture #17 (last photo)
