This is Vintage Canadian made Storage Trunk, Blanket Chest was crafted with care by a reputable furniture maker of the time -"The Henderich Furniture Co. Ltd in Milverton Ontario was constructed in the early 30's.
Rectangular top with carved edge, dentil detail to the lower plinth base
It features cedar lined interior-a lovely touch for storing blankets, linens or cherished items. Cedar's natural aroma and moth -repellent properties make it practical choice for storing textiles
The exterior showcases sturdy construction typical of 1930's furniture, with a beautiful wood finish that has developed a warm patina over time.
Drawer below offers useful storage space.
