An elaborated carved pediment flanked by a pair of creatures and floral carved and pierced scrolls
Caned paneled back flanked by a pair of carved oak out swept arms ending with lions heads.
Well proportioned cane seat with carved molding underneath
All sitting on eight turned legs connected by original turned stretchers.
Please note that part of the caning on seat has breakage consistent with 140 years of use.
This does not affect seating and many collectors prefer the authentic look.
Very good antique condition. The oak has a rich waxed patina , frame is solid and sound.
