Vintage Carved Walnut Barley Twist Center Table, Hall Table Scotland 1910 F-1619

This piece showcases the craftsmanship that made British barley twist furniture so collectible. The entire base is hand-carved with deep spiraling barley twist turnings on all four legs, united by matching twist stretchers. The solid walnut has a warm patina, with the mellow golden tone that only comes from a century use. Slim apron in good proportion.
Excellent antique condition. Solid and stable. Top shows expected age wear- light scuffs, minor marks and rich patina consistent with age. No wabble and no major repairs
